About the work

Acrylic on canvas, approx. 90 x 40 cm. "Interior Echo" stages a cinematic domestic tableau in saturated, slightly surreal color: a solitary male figure stands framed between painted doors and a portrait that echoes his likeness. The piece explores identity as performance—how memory, self-image and domestic props construct a persona. Strong outlines, flat but textured color planes, and measured perspectival distortion give the scene a graphic, editorial quality while preserving painterly surface gestures. The framed portrait-within-the-painting and repeated furniture motifs suggest generational resonance and the ways interiors hold and reflect personal histories.
